The information is immediately recorded, uploaded to the Cloud and visible on the map to all registered users. The map shows all reported incidents in an area and can be used to identify hotspots or areas that require immediate service delivery. This information can be shared with local authorities to aid in decision making and distribution of resources.
As we all know, many crimes in South Africa go unreported. By allowing users to safely and anonymously record incidents using the app we are able to generate more accurate statistics and identify where targeted interventions are needed.
